Which options platforms do you recommend for beginners, and why?

Just jumping right in here - when it comes to options trading platforms, which ones would y'all say are best suited for beginners? I'm asking 'cause there's a whole heap of them out there and it would be good to get some pointers to filter them out. What are the reasons they are beginner friendly? What are their features that make them stand out for someone who's just starting out? Highly appreciate your insights!

Well, I'm not entirely convinced. There seems to be more to this issue than meets the eye. Any thoughts?

Taking a step back here to look at the larger picture, it seems like there are a few things we might be overlooking. It's easy to get caught up in their marketing and shiny features, but there are other factors that are just as important. For instance, how robust is the platform's educational resources? Or does the platform provide good customer support? Steps in the trading process might be confusing at first, so having helpful support readily at hand can be a boon for a beginner. And let's not forget about fees – some platforms might have hidden costs that aren't immediately apparent. Just some food for thought - what do you guys reckon?

Switching gears a bit, I think it's worth mentioning the user interface and overall user experience. Sometimes we place a lot of emphasis on features and overlook how intuitive the platform actually feels. A beginner-friendly platform should have a clean layout that new traders can navigate with ease, reducing the chances of making errors due to a complex or cluttered interface. Has anyone considered how well the platforms integrate with different devices? Those who prefer trading on the move will benefit from a solid mobile app. Smooth performance across desktop and mobile could be a dealmaker for those who aren't always glued to a computer screen. Thoughts on this?

Any input on customization options? Can beginners tweak the platforms to their liking as they learn, or is it all pretty rigid?
